A late 19th century Italian marble bust on matched marble reeded pedestal, inscribed to the rear G.Besji.
Wearing a folded draped headpiece above curled hair, her head gazing upward and slightly to dexter, her shoulders covered with rose coloured marble drapery, inscribed to the rear Prof. G. Besji, the waisted rectangular base inscribed RUTH, in matched marble reeded pedestal, 58cm high, the pedestal 117cm high.
